The 2016 Crossfit Open was the most fun I have had in a long time. To see the effort throughout those grueling five weeks was nothing short of remarkable! So many individuals showing up each and every Friday night just to get their butt kicked after a long work week is something that we should take one more second to sit back and recognize. I am going to go ahead and call the 2016 open a win for everyone. Whether you were one of those who fought for 7 minutes to *almost* get your first muscle-up, or one who somehow pieced together 55 HEAVY A#% deadlifts, or, if you were like me, and were happy to have kept your lunch down during thruster hell; I commend you on a job well done. So, now that the bow has been put on the 2016 Crossfit Open, what’s next? April 4th begins the start of a 6-week Olympic Weightlifting Strength Cycle, during which we will be working towards new one-rep maxes. Stay humble and patient throughout this cycle. We will be working hard and your coaches will help keep you informed and safe. Your job is to eat right, sleep well, show up, and work hard! Road to the 2017 Crossfit Open Starts Now!Our team of coaches have developed a game plan to build everyone into tip-top shape for next year’s Crossfit Open. Our yearly scheduled template will be broken down as follows:
Throughout this upcoming year even though we have major focusses, each and every workout will still be geared towards the following three benefits of improving overall strength, burning calories, and increasing your work capacity. Increased work capacity means more energy with your kids, family, at work, and out in this beautiful state of Colorado! Crossfit isn’t necessarily for everyone, but I promise you it can be for anyone. I am excited moving forward. This facility is designed to make you healthier and happier. I look forward to participating in 2017 Crossfit Open with you. Enjoy the Grind!
