If you are like me, the holiday season can be challenging time of the year to hold strong to your healthy eating habits. The comfort of meeting with friends and family can also be accompanied with large portions of comfort foods. Will power is tested! When given the choice between apple pie and pecan pie after an already filling main course my answer is somehow still going to be, "A slice of each please!" So, believe me, I get it!
Try to stay strong throughout the holiday season, but to help burn-up the side of cookies you ate with your two pieces of pie we will be doing a challenge for the next 30 days...
Beginning Monday, December 5th and running until January 5th FCCF will be running a 30 day Rowing Challenge!
How many calories can you row in 30 days!?!?
Show up a few minutes early to class or stay after to accumulate calories rowed. There will be a score sheet for you to mark down and keep score against other participants.
How to Compete
dEveryone is invited to participate! After each rowing session take a picture of calories rowed and post it to Facebook. Smack talk is invited, and infact it is ENCOURAGED! Mark down your total on the score sheet that will be provided and at the end of the 30 days one winner will get a $25 Gift Card and a FCCF Water Bottle!
